RELATE – REsearch LAbs for TEaching journalists

is an EU-funded project that aims to

bridge the gap between science and society

The project is addressed to 80 young journalists coming from European Institutes willing to have the chance to experience a week visit in a top research centre across Europe and then publish their findings.

Participants:

• Are sent on a week-long visit with other students from across Europe, all expenses paid.

• Work as journalists: attending press conferences, interviewing researchers or filming lab work, with an aim to produce an article or video.

• Receive valuable advice on pitching your work to newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, etc.

Note: Application campaign is now closed. We thank  all of the applicants for the interest showed in our project. Selected candidates will be informed by the end of September 2010, for the November training session!
